Welcome to Sarah and David’s Diversity Project!
This project was created by David Myers and Sarah Hummel for Dr. Wessell's Biology 102 class at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, NY. The purpose of this Diversity Project is to show the evolutionary progress within three different groups of organisms, Plants, Animals, and Chordates. For each group we have created a phylogenetic tree and descriptions of each phylum and class.
Plant Diversity Project
Click here to visit our plant diversity project, where we cover phyla Bryophyta, Pterophyta, Coniferophyta, and Anthophyta. Included are the phylogenetic tree and brief descriptions of the taxa.
Animal Diversity Project
Click here to visit our animal diversity project, where we cover phyla Porifera, Cnidaria, Platyhelmenthes, Nematoda, and more. Included are the phylogenetic tree and brief descriptions of the taxa.
Chordate Diversity Project
Click here to visit our chordate diversity project, where we cover classes Agnatha, Chondrichthyes, Osteichthyes, Amphibia, Reptilia, Mammalia and Aves. Included are the phylogenetic tree and brief descriptions of the taxa.
